The luxury, detached houses in Hawksdown were built in the early twentieth century, and are characterised by a feeling of spaciousness, openness and quality.    Le Vaillant Owen completed improvements and a rear extension to provide as much natural light as possible in the kitchen, breakfast and dining rooms. It also complements and enhanced, the symmetrical principal façade. 

Valerie also carried out an attic roof conversion, adding elegant dormer windows which are so beautifully detailed they blend seamlessly with the rest of the house, as well as adding a fine, timber framed atelier in the garden, and ornate perimeter walls with railings, pilasters and finials.
