This is a large, four-storey Victorian house in Walmer Seafront Conservation area. The house needed comprehensive refurbishment, having been neglected for around forty years. Valerie secured Planning and Building Regulations approvals, which enabled her to restore the exterior, open the ground and second floors, and transform the interior into a spacious, modern home with high-quality design and great finishes throughout. The house previously had a restricted, tired kitchen, and a single bathroom, so Valerie designed a sleek new kitchen and relocated it into the ground floor extension; she also created two new bathrooms on the upper floors, and a new ground floor cloakroom, all in inspiring designs.
