Kingsdown Holiday Park is an attractive tourist destination, located in Kingsdown Conservation area, and perched high up on the world-famous White Cliffs of Dover. Valerie was retained as a Planning Consultant by Tingdene Holiday Parks, with a brief to maximise its investment return in Kingsdown Holiday Park. Over five years, Valerie secured a range of beneficial Planning Permissions, including securing permission for all-year opening (against significant local opposition,) which increased the value of the asset by £ Millions.

Valerie also secured successful Planning Permissions for a new gym, a new motel, an additional four new chalets, and for enclosed front porch extensions to all the existing chalets to improve energy efficiency. Valerie also secured Highways Consent for tourist signage to the park and additional Planning Permissions for a new service area, a more intense parking layout, a new play area, and  the conversion of an old Gunnery, high on the cliffs, into a luxury house with spectacular views over the Channel. Tingdene Holiday Park was delighted with Valerie’s Planning expertise and skill – the value of its asset increased significantly, as a direct result of the many beneficial Planning Permissions she secured.
