The Blue Pigeon is a Grade II Listed Building in Worth, which was previously a tired Public House and was converted into a Boutique Hotel & Restuarant.  Valerie successfully secured three different Planning Permissions, including a Change of Use on the top floor (from residential accommodation to hotel bedrooms), and a large ancillary building for staff accommodation in the grounds. She also secured Listed Building Consent for comprehensive alteration works, including the creation of new ensuites within the bedrooms, a new dining and bar area and major works to provide a new kitchen, disabled facilities and guest cloakrooms. In addition, Valerie secured Building Regulations and Fire approvals for the project, and handled health and safety matters during construction, including Notification to HSE, which were required owing to the scale of construction work.  It was a privilege to be part of the team which restored the Blue Pigeons and Valerie was delighted to put her extensive knowledge and experience of heritage construction and Listed buildings to such good use. The interiors were handled by Beside The Shore Interior Design (Carly Molyneux). The Blue Pigeons has been transformed into a prestigious hotel – it looks sensational!
