Manor Barn is a spectacular Grade II Listed timber framed barn, dating from the 17th century. It has a weatherboarded timber frame on a tarred English bond, brick plinth, and plain tile hipped canopies. Externally, there is a large steeply pitched roof, which is carried down over the low weatherboarded aisle walls. On the northwest side there are 2 cart entrances with boarded double doors, and hipped plain tile canopies on arched braces, now supported on timber posts. On the left-hand northeast end there is a small 20th century weatherboarded outshot.
Internally, Manor Barn is a large, 8-bay aisled barn with threshing floors in bays 3 and 6 and a great deal of architectural and historic interest. Valerie secured Listed Building Consent for a series of internal improvements and enhancements, including extending the main bedroom, relocating the ensuite bathroom and installing a new roof light.
