The client owned a detached house in Middle Deal Road, with a large ‘wrap around’ garden, and commissioned Valerie to secure Planning Permission for two houses on the same site. Valerie successfully secured Planning permission for a pair of detached houses in 2007.

Valerie maximised the space available, and hence the land value, by designing three-storey town houses. These are attractive properties, with red brick ground floors and render above, red tiled roofs and elegant timber canopies over the front doors.

The client was so pleased with the house designs, he moved his growing family into one of the properties, and commissioned Valerie to provide professional advice on other development projects in his portfolio, including an apartment building in Cheriton, Folkestone.
