Front and rear dormer extensions, internal improvements including the creation of a balcony/terrace to create a stunning apartment within The Marina Building on Deal seafront. The client said: “I appointed Valerie as my architect, to convert the roof space in my top floor apartment into a master bedroom with an ensuite, dressing space, and a large roof terrace with sensational sea views. The apartment is in an imposing Victorian building on the seafront and Valerie secured an excellent Planning Permission for the roof conversion and a large terrace with a discrete balustrade in structural glass. The project was difficult to build, given it was five storeys above ground, and the base build construction was not as we expected! But Valerie resolved all the issues expertly on site and delivered a stunning result. The new space is a joy to use, and the project has added significant value to my property.”
